Your Personal Relationship with God
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
Lord, reveal your purpose for my life and help me to walk in the path that you have prepared for me. Shield me from the ungodly ways of the world and protect me from those who have ill intentions.
Lord, encourage my heart and strengthen my faith as I await word from you. I know that you are in ‘absolute control’ and working on my behalf, removing every obstacle that can hinder me from fulfilling your purpose.
Lord, when I am weak, help me to see that ‘self-life’ desires within me may cause me to act independently of your will. Help me to distinguish the desires of the flesh from those human desires that are aligned with the Holy Spirit.
Lord, I desire my personal relationship with you to grow stronger each day so that when I fall on my knees to have uninterrupted prayer with you, I will be able to be a better listener, and learn when you speak to me.
Thank you for being the source of my love and strength and thank you for the blessings you bestow upon me and my loved ones every day.
