This collection includes works from artist Claudia Lang-Pitts in Atlanta, Georgia, and contributing artists. Claudia is a passionate portrait artist and the daughter of Reverend Claude Lang and Hazel Natalie Watson Lang. Seventy-five percent of all sales contribute to scholarship funding.

“Mother, the Church Pianist”

This portrait is a painting of the family matriarch Hazel Natalie Watson Lang, an amazing Christian woman of many gifts.  The memories we hold of her from childhood inspired Founder Claudia Lang-Pitts to paint this portrait. The generations to follow will have a keepsake of their ancestral grandmother Hazel Natalie Watson, wife of Reverend Claude Lang, mother of six children, and a talented church pianist for more than 35 years.

“Mr. Lang”

Frederick Lang, aka “Grandpa Lang or Mr. Lang”, was the father of the late Reverend Claude Lang and son of Smiley Lang, a former slave in Shubuta, MS.
